Q: What is the SensMor Dud Detector used for? |
A: Using a dud detector is a basic part of quality control in production. If you’ve got a product line with containers, cans or jars that need to be sealed with vacuum or pressure then you must make sure that each container, can or jar is properly sealed. Not using any dud-detecting mechanism may result in spoiled products reaching the consumer which can further impose increased product liability costs. The SensMor Dud Detector will enable you to simply and inexpensively verify that your products are properly sealed.

Q: How does the SensMor Dud Detector verify that the container/can/jar lids are sealed with a vacuum? |
A: Since the depression of a lid’s center (“pop”) indicates whether there is vacuum or not, the SensMor Dud Detector’s built-in sensor (Inductive Analog Proximity Sensor) checks the extent of the depression of the lid’s center in relation to lid’s shoulders (sides). If the center of the lid is not propely sunk in its center, but rather “pops” upwards then that lid is not sealing its container properly. If this is the case then that “dud” container/can/jar will be automatically separated from the Dud Detector machine. |
Q: What kind of maintenance is needed for the SensMor Dud Detector? |
A: The SensMor Dud Detector is probably the most strong and simply dud detector on the global market today.
